Bill Tipton
Mr. James Tipton, age 92 of Mineola, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Quitman. He was born on August 16, 1925 in Moberly Missouri to the late James Tipton and Euroth Goldine Bradley Tipton. He was a member of First United Methodist Mineola and the Mineola Kiwanis Club. He served on the New Hope Water Board, as Chairman of Mineola Main Street an was supervisor of the Sidewalk and Depot Projects. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda Tipton.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Baxter of Huron, Ohio and one grandson Neil Walton of Denver, CO
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cedars Memorial Gardens Cemetery Hwy 69 South Mineola, TX 75773 at 2:00 pm, Ron Wilson and Mercy Rushing conducting.
