Obituary for Annie Marie "Babe" Nelson (Brumsey)
Mrs. Annie Marie "Babe" Nelson died Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Mineola at the age of 88. She was born Tuesday, November 29, 1927 in Mineola to the late Essie Brumsey and Rosie Jones Brumsey.
Mrs. Nelson was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was a longtime member of the adult choir. She was retired from Bluebonnet Cleaners and was preceded in death by her husband, Cortelyou Nelson and one son, George Brumsey.
Survivors include her son, Johnny Ray Brumsey of Wiesbaden, Germany and daughter, Nola Nelson-Tennyson pf Mineola; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
