James Howard  Mize
Mr. James Howard Mize of Mineola died Monday, May 2, 2016 at the age of 71. He was born Monday, December 4, 1944 in Golden, Texas to the late, William Howard Mize and Anna Agnes Williams Mize.
He was a retired pressman for the Longview News Journal and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Alba Lions Club and had served as a deacon at his church for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Joyce Knox and by one granddaughter, Briana Leeman.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Galyean Mize of Mineola; son, Kevin Mize of Mineola; daughters, Dawn Stubblefield and her husband Randy and Michelle Leeman and her husband Brian both of Mineola; brother-in-law, George Knox of Mineola; grandchildren, Shayna Tarter and husband Michael of Mineola, Trey Stubblefield of Mineola, Jonathan Mize and wife Kristin of Alba, Miranda Leeman, Cody Stubblefield and Joshua Mize all of Mineola; one Great grandchild, Paysen Tarter.
