Mr. Harold William Lenius, age 97, of Winnsboro passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Mother Frances Hospital of Winnsboro. Harold was born on October 25, 1918 in Waterloo, Iowa to the late Rufus Lenius and Lucinda Malstead Lenius. He was retired, a member of Pine Street Baptist Church, and a Veteran of the U.S Navy, serving during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Janette Lenius; son, Larry Lenius; grandson, Bret Lenius; and a brother. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Hewett and husband Tom of Colorado Springs, CO., Suzanne Calhoun and husband Fred of Sanger; sister, Lucille Brinkman of Denton; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 11th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, at 2:00 pm, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Harold's Grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
