Obituary for James Ovie "Sonny" Valentine

James Ovie "Sonny" Valentine, age 72, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Saturday, January 29, 1938 in Kaufman County, Texas to the late James and Maurine Valentine. He was a member of Holly Lake Church of Christ. He was also a member of Holly Roller RV Club and the Rambling Rose Travelers.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Valentine; a son, Glenn Valentine; a daughter, Lia Beaty; two grandchildren, J.R. Smith, Renee Rocha; four great-grandchildren, Makyla Smith, Lexie Rocha, Anthony Rocha and Alysa Rocha.
A memorial service will be held at the Holly Lake Church of Christ on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Bill Holt officiating.
