Obituary for Bob Gene Zachary

Mr. Bob G. Zachary, age 83 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Winnsboro. Bob was born in Franklin County on January 2, 1930 to the late O.R. and Rosa Gossett Zachary. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he later worked for and retired from Swepco, and was an electrician in Winnsboro for many years. He was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church, and the Gus Garrison Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Patsy Zachary on May 4, 2013; also preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers, Wayne and Don Zachary. He is survived by a son, Mike Zachary and wife Janet of Mineola; a daughter, Sharon Gilbreath and husband Ronney of Winnsboro; three brothers, Richard Zachary of Winnsboro, Glen Zachary and wife Betty of Mt. Vernon, Jimmy Zachary and wife Vicki of Flint; sisters, Nadine Harwell of Queen City, Leta Nell Argenbright and husband James of Emory, Joan Burgess of Sherman, Jerry Sue Mayfield of Longview; three grandchildren, Anna Zachary, Ryan Gilbreath, Whitney Wenich; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
